With the coming of good weather we are looking forward to the start of our new year with the Bremond Farmers & Flea Market.

Come and participate either as a Vendor or as a Customer. New and returning vendors welcome. Some of us are both.

We will have our produce that is ready for harvest or maybe you are looking to start your own egg supply with the fowl of your choice. We will have home made crafts and “garage sale” items.

Join us to see what our local vendors have this month. Last month we had keepsake model cars, trucks, fire trucks, fuel haulers, etc. All in pristine condition with original packaging. Eggs, chickens, quail, vintage table settings and glass ware, jams, personal care items, pickles, pickled beets, watermelon rind, fresh watermelon and more.

We are using a new site this month on Hwy 14 in the City Park (next to closed Coal Mine restaurant.

Our July 20, 2024 the raffle winners were all local residents and our Mayor was the first place winner receiving the single shot pump shot gun originally sold by Montgomery Wards. Second place winner of the $40.00 gift certificate, from the famous Groholski Sausage here in town, was Donnie Mikolakjewski. Three (3) boxes of 12 guage shot gun shells won by Heidi O’Neil with Deanna LaFavor and Casey Zan each receiving two (2) boxes of 12 guage shells. Pam Herzog won a Mia Farrow handbag and Debbie Greensage won the DSW handbag. We all enjoyed the fun of who will be drawn next.

We expect to have a great market on AUGUST 17, 2024 with returning and new vendors.

Mark your calendars!

It is possible that we will move the City Park on HWY 14 in August instead of the Lumberyard Park on Main Street. It all depends on getting the parking, electrical, etc. all in place. We will have directional signs and make the announcement on the website ahead of time. However, our town is small of enough that you can not miss us either way.

This market will have the raffle drawing at the close of market. Raffle tickets are available until drawing is held. They are $20.00 each benefiting the Farmers Market upkeep as we are providing free spaces to our local/backyard gardeners and crafting residents.

Our vendors provide vegetables and fruits in season, farm fresh eggs, pickles, jams, fresh picked berries, figs (frozen), beverages, personal care items, hand made wood crafts and work benches, fresh bread, plants, crafts, baby shower gifts, baby quilts, pottery, depression and vintage glass, live chickens, chicks, Guinea fowl, and other feather friends, full size quilts, garage sale items and other eye catching items.

SQUIRREL COOK OFF

MAY 18, 2024

In addition to our Farmers Market there will be a Squirrel Cook Off. Registration is $10.00 On site cook off starts at 8am in the Lumberyard Park at 315 S. Main (Farmers Market site) and judging will be at 3 pm.

Squirrel (only 1) must be LEGALLY harvested and provided by team at registration.

Cooking must be done on-site and may begin after registration for cook off which ends at 9am.

All cooking must be done by team member and must stop at 1 pm.

Entry must be at least 75% squirrel.

Sponsor will provide vessel and utensils for judges.

Team will provide samples to judges.

Ruling of judges is final. Cash Prizes of $100.00 for 1st

$ 50.00 for 2nd

$ 25.00 for 3rd
